Growing up in Durango, Colorado, Keenan picked up the game of golf when he was just three years old watching his dad play. After playing high school golf for Durango High School, then at South Mountain Community College where his team finished second in the national championship, he earned a second team PING All-American award. From there, he played at the University of Northern Colorado and graduated with a degree in Recreation and Tourism. After having one year of eligibility left to play college sports, Keenan went back to his hometown and played at Fort Lewis College where he finished 8th in the NCAA DII National Championship. After college, Keenan played professionally fulltime for five years on the mini tours. Keenan has been a member of the Dove team since 2018 running Member events, hotel groups and specializing in teaching. He is the proud husband to his wife Melissa and father to two young and beautiful daughters Charlotte and Ella.
