David Ramonet began his career at Green Valley Pecan Co. shortly after graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Sustainable Plant Systems and Agronomy. His early experience there opened doors to his role as a golf course Superintendent, starting at El Conquistador Golf Course under Troon management, where he honed his skills in golf course maintenance practices and year-round course preparation.
In 2022, David accepted a challenging role in Goodyear, Arizona, where he led the construction of new greens and sand bunkers, successfully installing 18 new greens, an upgraded irrigation system, and MiniVerde Bermudagrass. He continued for over a year upgrading course infrastructure and strengthening the maintenance team.
In December 2023, David joined The Gallery as North Course Superintendent, a role that allowed him and his family to return to Tucson. He quickly set to work auditing and improving the course’s irrigation and service quality. Now, as Director of Agronomy, David remains dedicated to enhancing both courses and the maintenance team. You may often see David working around the North Golf Course or driving around with his mini Goldendoodle, Honey.
